On Sunday, 11th of November 2022, Saudi Arabia’s real estate company Dar al Arkan announced signing a $4 billion deal with the Trump Organization. The deal aims to develop the signature Trump Resort on a 100m high hilltop in Project AIDA in collaboration with OMRAN Group, the Sultanate of Oman’s executive arm for tourism development, for the expansive development of residential villas, a hotel, and a golf course in Muscat, Oman.
The project aims to be the world’s largest mixed-use real estate project located directly on the oceanfront. Yousef Al Shelash, Chairman, Dar Al Arkan said,
“The Trump Organization is known for its exclusive developments. Superior quality, detail, and perfection are the standards that Trump demands across its projects – from residential to retail. We are always looking to enhance Dar Al Arkan’s unique projects with premium facilities and experiences, and our partnership with Trump will distinguish our first venture in Oman and put it on the global map.”
Also, the project’s development is announced to start by 2023 and may take around 10 years to complete. According to Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar al Arkan Global, Project AIDA is a sensational idea. The thought of playing golf at a hilltop villa overlooking the mesmerizing view of the ocean waves is too beautiful to imagine. He added, “We are confident the relationship with Trump will further enhance the beauty of AIDA and attract investors from around the world looking to be part of an exceptional project.”

The golf course is the major highlight of the development project. It will include state-of-the-art golf facilities, a spacious golf clubhouse, and a host of related amenities that will ultimately become the new standard for golf in the region.
